The holidays are here, and gift-giving is in full swing, but the motorcycle enthusiast in the family can be tough to shop for. Being riders of distinguished taste, we thought it worthwhile to compile some of our favorite new products in case you need a last-minute miracle—or maybe you deserve to treat yourself a little.
As always, we aim for quality not quantity in this holiday roundup, and have personal experience with all the brands featured. If we wouldn’t buy it ourselves, we certainly wouldn’t sell you on it—and that’s what’s up.
Danner Moto GTX Riding Boots We’re spoiled for choice when it comes to moto-focused protective footwear, but Danner’s new Moto GTX boot certainly has our attention. This 6-inch boot is made with a full-grain leather upper with integrated D3O ankle protection, and features an extra layer of leather in the toe and shifter areas.
The Moto GTX is 100% waterproof and features a GORE-TEX breathable liner to keep your feet cool and dry. Handcrafted in Portland, Oregon, this boot is eligible for Danner’s recrafting services, ensuring a long lifespan for your investment.
motogadget motoscope chronoclassic 2 There’s a fine line when incorporating modern technology in your classic motorcycle build, often a matter of being functional without being gaudy. That’s an area where our friends at Motogadget excel, and their new motoscope chronoclassic 2 gauge promises to be their slimmest, most innovative instrument so far.
Measuring 3.15” in diameter with a depth of just 0.87,” the chronoclassic 2 has a brilliant, large-diameter 10k gauge face without the bulk of a factory instrument. The other game-changer is the invisible LED display that can be programmed for everything from speed and trip, to a clock and acceleration G forces. The clincher is that it completely disappears into the gauge face when switched off.
Built with the segment-leading quality and functionality we’ve come to expect from motogadget, we’re sure to see this one on a lot of builds in the coming year.
SAINT Armored Bomber Jacket There’s no need to sacrifice comfort and style with today’s riding gear, and the new Armored Bomber jacket from SAINT feels like a perfect fit for cruisers and classics. The waterproof waxed canvas exterior wears in (not out) like we’ve come to expect from SAINT, and won’t leave you feeling out of place when you leave the saddle.
The bomber is built to CE ‘AA’ certified standards, with removable level 2 shoulder and elbow armor, in addition to an armor pocket for D3O Viper back armor. 100% recycled polyester fill will keep you warm when the sun goes down, and an internal waterproof membrane helps boost resistance to precipitation. The perfect fit for an evening cruise or a jaunt to the local cafe, SAINT’s bomber combines the right level of protection with classic flight jacket charm.
Akin Moto Wingman Motorcycle Messenger Bag The Wingman Motorcycle Messenger Bag from Akin Moto is the perfect reason to retire that old backpack you’ve been cramming all your junk in for years. The bag has eight compartments and a padded interior with a maximum volume of 12 liters—perfect for stashing your every day carry, a tablet or a full DSLR camera. YKK zippers and Duraflex buckles won’t leave you fumbling with your gloves on, and a weather-resistant exterior pocket is a great place to store that tablet-size cellphone.
The Wingman ships with adjustable mounting straps and eight Velcro MOLLE straps, permitting tidy and secure fastening to most any part of your bike.

Maroon Bell Dipped Deer Motorcycle Gloves Long a well-kept secret for form-fitting comfort, deer-hide riding gloves are a tasteful, no-nonsense way to get back to basics behind the bars. Inspired by Easy Rider’s Captain America, the Dipped Deer glove is the latest moto-focused offering from Maroon Bell.
The Dipped Deer glove is made from US-based, farm-raised deer hide with the protection and grip that come with real leather. A simple and timeless look, we’d be rocking these gloves for a lot more than just riding.
Aether Laslo Motorcycle Jacket Clean and understated gear never goes out of style, and AETHER’s Laslo motorcycle jacket is a double-duty addition to any rider’s wardrobe. It’s built with slim and flexible D3O armor, including Ghost range limb protectors and a Viper back pad, which are both CE Level 1 rated. Pop the armor out, and you’ve got a slim-fitting lifestyle piece that wears in with use.
The Laslo jacket is fit with mesh grommets in the underarms, an abrasion-resistant intermediate layer and is cut shorter in the front to keep you comfortable in the saddle. It’s made from 100% leather and comes in any color—as long as it’s black.
ICON Cornelius Domain Helmet ICON’s brain buckets never fail to catch our eye, and the new Cornelius Domain easily earns a place on our list. This version of the Domain combines a sedate satin black finish with an oversized, dark-smoked shield and a spoiler out back.
The handmade composite fiberglass shell is light on the scale, and there’s also a deep cutout along the neckline that seamlessly integrates ICON’s optional Helmlink Bluetooth communicator. Developed in conjunction with SENA, Helmlink connects up to 20 riders and is worth the additional investment in our book for tidy integration. Like all of our favorites from ICON, the Domain comes with full DOT, ECE and PSC certification.
