Atom Bomb Customs Triumph TR6R

Here’s the most recent creation from Clay Rathburn, the man behind Atom Bomb Custom Motorcycles of Salem, VA. It’s called Nothin’ Fancy and it’s based on a 1970 Triumph TR6R.

Clay’s the son of a hot rodder, and after making his name as a race car fabricator, became an award-winning hot rod builder. Two years ago he rediscovered his childhood love of motorcycles, and for that we should be thankful. He may not have many bikes to his name yet, but his taste is excellent.

In progress is Twisted Sister, a 1965 Triumph, “built from the world’s ugliest Bonneville,” says Clay. “It’s so bad we won’t post a picture of it until we have the ‘after’ pictures.”
